Japanese Software/Hardware Sales for week ending 10/18/2009 [UPDATED]

The latest Media Create figures have just been released and show that Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver holds on to the number 1 spot with 165 000 copies for the week ending the 18th of October.Media Create

Wii Fit Plus sticks it out in second place, selling 118 000 copies in its third week on the chart. Tomodachi Collection climbs two places to number 5 with 63 000 copies while Inazuma Eleven 2: Threat of the Invaders remains in fourth with 60 000 copies.

Uncharted 2 for the PS3 debuts strongly at number 5 with 54 000 copies while Okami for the Wii is also new at number 6 with 24 000 copies. Wii Sports Resort hangs on to seventh place with 23 000 copies while Gran Turismo Portable drops two places to number 8 with 22 000 copies.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey drops to number 9 with 20 000 copies after debuting at number 3 last week and Love Plus moves down to number 10 with 19 000 copies.

Dragon Quest IX drops out of the Top 10 to number 15, as does Macross Ultimate Frontier which falls to number 16. BeatMania IIDX16 for the PS2 debuts at number 11, Undead Knights for the PSP at number 12 and the latest Fullmetal Alchemist for the PSP at number 13. UFC 2009 Undisputed for the PS3 is also new at number 24.
