Audiosurf players are urged to log into the Steam service today, as a massive international patch is released, fixing bugs and adding new functionality to the popular indie music game including UTF-8 support.

As of this morning you can download iTunes 7.7 and, with a little help from Gizmodo, manually add the App Store to your iPhone. Why would you do that? So you can check out the spiffy new games they have available. Yeah, I'm sure some of the seventeen games currently available will be shovelware, but that doesn't mean there won't be some gems.

Dungeons & Dragons Creator Gary Gygax Dies

March 05, 2008 | 11:36:54 AM -- Gary Gygax, co-creator of the incredibly influential Dungeons & Dragons role-playing games, died yesterday at his home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin at age 69.

Almost everyone who's ever played an RPG, be it with dice, a mouse, or a controller, owes a debt of gratitude to Gygax, who helped create many of the conventions we now take for granted, such as leveling up, stat-boosting gear, and, of course, the Dungeon Master.
