Current Version: Version 7.6 (20/June/2007)

This IV Calculator/Stat Calculator/Hidden Power Calculator has been written by Hercules G. Papatheodorou a.k.a Arty2, owner of Legendary Pokémon. It allows the calculation of any Pokémon's Individual Values when given the Pokémon's species, nature, stats and Effort Points.

It's written in JavaScript to ensure cross-system compatibility. It is a single file download (can easily fit on a floppy disc) and requires nothing but the pre-installed browser that can be found on any Operating System.

This calculator is designed for Ruby/Sapphire and newer versions; Gold/Silver and previous versions are not compatible with it, so make sure which version you are playing. This Program requires JavaScript, which is enabled by default in most browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera, Safari, Konqueror). If you have problems with this Program you can find the online, (PHP powered) calculator on Legendary Pokémon. If you want to work on this Program or put it in your site, read the License below; don't forget to clearly link back to http://www.legendarypokemon.net !

Instructions

How to download this calculator
While in your browser window, go to File -> Save As... and save this page to your computer. You can then use it offline whenever you want.
Individual Values
range from 0 to 31.
Effort Points
range from 0 to 255.
Precision %
Precision shows the possibity of "average IV" being the actual IV. Note: You have 1 chance in 32 to get a an IV of 31 in one stat, 1 in 1.024 to get a max IV in two stats and 1 chance in 1.073.741.824 to find a Pokémon with max IV in all 6 stats. Remember that it is not possible to accurately clalculate the IVs of low leveled Pokémon unless their stats are projected to lvl 100 in a Wi-Fi battle for example.
Hidden Power
This move that changes from Pokémon to Pokémon since both its base power and type depend on the user's Individual Values. Getting a Pokémon with good stats and the desired Hidden Power type (really useful for Special Attackers that need to counter another Pokémon type) is tough but not impossible since Hidden Power's type and base power can be accurately calculated with using the form below. You can edit the Average IVs and get different results from the defaults. An easier way to determine a Pokémon's Hidden Power type, it to attack a wild Kecleon.
Stat Calculation
As you can do for calculating the Hidden Power, you can edit the Average IVs, and Effort Points and accurately calculate a Pokémon's stats.
Autocomplete
Try typing the Pokémon's name, number or nature in the textboxes beside the dropdown lists if you want quick access to a Pokémon or Nature.
Save and Load
Click on the Save button to generate a link that you can save in your bookmarks or send to a friend, then click the Load button to load the data saved. Here's an example.
Online features
You can now click on the Show Sprite button to show a Pokémon's Sprite if you are online. You can also see the Pokémon's dex entry by clicking on the sprite.
Themes
You can now use themes that alter the Calculator's default appearence. You can also add your own themes.
IM friendly output
The Calculator also exports all results into a signle line of plain text so that you can easily copy/paste it to your prefered Instant Messenger or IRC client.
Print Smart
Try printing this page; the theme will change so it is print-friendly. You can now easily organize your Pokémon by printing their stats as calculated by this program.
