The political guests of honour will be Dorothee Bär, who as Germany’s Minister of State for Digitalisation is the federal official responsible for all games-related issues, and Armin Laschet, Minister-President of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. And for the first time, holders of a ‘wild card’, which allows private visitors to attend gamescom on the exclusive trade visitor and media day, will additionally be able to take part in the official opening. This was announced today by the gamescom sponsor, game – the German Games Industry Association, and Koelnmesse, the event organiser, at a press event in Berlin. The partner country of gamescom 2018 is Spain. Programs and Events Schedule at Comic-Con International: San Diego
Comic-Con International once again features a massive schedule of programming events—the largest of any comics or pop culture convention in the country, if not the world! This is the largest and most extensive Comic-Con International programming schedule to date. It spans all four days and includes 19 separate rooms in the Convention Center, ranging from 256 seats to the massive 6,500-seat Hall H. Beyond the Convention Center, you will find Comic-Con programming at four other locations in downtown: the San Diego Central Library, the Hilton Bayfront Hotel, the Horton Grand Theatre, and the Marriott Marquis. Programs at the Central Library are located in the Shiley Special Events Suite (9th Floor) and The Neil Morgan Auditorium (ground floor, opposite the library). The library is across the Harbor Drive pedestrian bridge at 330 Park Blvd. (you can also enter at 11th Ave. and K St.). Programs at the Hilton Bayfront, just south of the Convention Center, are in the Indigo Ballroom. The Horton Grand Theatre is at 444 4th Avenue, two blocks east of the Convention Center. The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel meeting facility is located on the Harbor Drive of the hotel, adjacent to the Convention Center on the Hall A side. Programs are in Grand Ballroom 1 & 2, Grand Ballroom 9, and Marina Ballroom DE. E3 2018 Press Conference Schedule
E3 takes place June 12-14, 2018, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. EA kicks things off on Saturday, June 9, with its EA Play briefing, while Microsoft and Bethesda will follow on Sunday afternoon and evening, respectively. Devolver Digital, a relative newcomer to E3 press conferences, will also host one on Sunday. Square Enix follows these on Monday morning; Ubisoft then takes its turn in the afternoon, with Sony’s presentation slated for later that evening. The PC Gaming Show also happens on Monday. Nintendo then concludes the press conferences with its briefing on Tuesday morning. We’ve laid out the exact schedule below, complete with times, for all of this year’s press conferences.
